Dear Friends of KissUX — we're thrilled to share some exciting updates this quarter. We've marked significant new partnerships, recognition from industry leaders, and opportunities to help shape national digital literacy policy.
New Partnership: National Digital Equity Center
We're excited to announce that we've started working with the National Digital Equity Center (NDEC), a leading organization dedicated to bridging the digital divide and ensuring equitable access to technology and digital skills across underserved communities.
Together we're building:
- An agentic onboarding experience that streamlines how digitally underserved users discover and enroll in digital skills classes.
- "Marci AI" — NDEC's AI Navigator that guides end users through the process with personalized support.
- An impact dashboard that helps NDEC capture crucial data for funders while continuously improving their services.
- A solution that reduces administrative burden on NDEC's staff by minimizing time spent interviewing potential students to match them with appropriate classes.
Strategic Partnership: Pennsylvania Association of Area Agencies on Aging
Together with the Pennsylvania Association of Area Agencies on Aging (P4A), KissUX is developing AI ride-along agents to prevent financial fraud against older adults and tools to help fraud investigators deliver better outcomes. P4A represents Pennsylvania's 52 Area Agencies on Aging and serves as a powerful advocate for older Pennsylvanians through its commitment to advocacy, leadership, training, and policy development.
Our initiative has received strong endorsements through letters of support from:
- Jason Kavulich, Secretary of Aging of Pennsylvania
- Butler County Area Agency on Aging
- Philadelphia County Area Agency on Aging
- AARP Pennsylvania
- Ben Franklin Technology Partners Northeast Pennsylvania
- Rep. Maureen Madden, Pennsylvania House Aging & Older Services Committee
Advocacy on Capitol Hill: ACT Global App Economy Conference
We were invited to Washington, DC for the Global App Economy Conference during the first week of May. Our team met with legislators and key stakeholders on Capitol Hill to discuss:
- The critical importance of digital literacy initiatives
- Connectivity infrastructure needs for underserved communities
- Fraud prevention strategies to protect vulnerable populations
- How responsible AI can support these policy priorities
It was a valuable opportunity to bring our frontline experience with digital safety challenges directly into federal policy conversations.
Expanding our Remote Assistance Capabilities
As we continue innovating our "ride-along agent" platform — with agents for digital skills navigation, onboarding, and fraud prevention — we're also expanding into how AI-powered remote troubleshooting can transform the customer support experience for digital literacy organizations.
Our team has demonstrated the ability to use AI agents to diagnose complex technical issues and resolve them via step-by-step guidance and agentic support. This will enable organizations to:
- Reduce support call volume by 70–90%
- Proactively detect and resolve technical problems
- Walk users through setup and configuration challenges
- Minimize the need for technician dispatches
We believe this approach has immense potential to improve service quality and reduce costs for organizations serving older adults, low-income families, and other digitally underserved populations. We're excited to explore more pilot opportunities that showcase its impact.
